This event aims to establish a high-level, international platform for academic exchange and to highlight the deep collaboration between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the global Chinese medicine academic community.
The 22nd IPSCM brings together leading researchers in Chinese medicine from around the world, showcasing nearly 100 cutting-edge research findings from more than 17 universities in China and abroad. The symposium features two main sections: oral presentations and poster sessions. Among them, 10 outstanding postgraduate students from Hong Kong, Macao, Chinese Mainland, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, and other countries and regions deliver oral presentations. Over 90 research abstracts will be presented as posters, comprehensively highlighting innovative breakthroughs and scientific progress in the field of Chinese medicine.
The symposium begins with the grand opening of the MCMIA Foundation “Vincent & Lily Woo Fellowship in Memory of Dr Albert Wong endowed by Vincent & Lily Woo Foundation” Award Presentation Ceremony. To further encourage distinguished young scholars, the symposium has set up “Tianjiang Cup Li Shizhen Youth Outstanding Thesis Award” under which 10 awardees will be chosen by a professional judging committee in recognition of their outstanding academic research.
Through high-level academic exchange, interdisciplinary intellectual cross-pollination, and deep dialogue among industry, academia, and research, this symposium endeavors to foster international collaboration and the continued innovation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) scholarship. It is committed to building a strong foundation for nurturing a new generation of TCM researchers with global vision and for driving the modernization and global reach of TCM.
